RepairHit Creators

Creator Privacy Policy

This policy explains what RepairHit may collect, store, review, and use for the RepairHit Creator Program.

Information creators provide

When applying to the RepairHit Creator Program, creators may provide their name, email address, phone number, website, social profile links, audience or niche description, application notes, and other information submitted through creator forms.

Creators may also submit post URLs, notes, channel details, and payout-related information when requested for program review or commission processing.

Referral and tracking information

RepairHit may track creator referral clicks, referral code usage, landing URL, session ID, hashed IP address, hashed user-agent, signup activity, submitted claims or listings, checkout activity, paid claims or listings, approval status, creator post submissions, commission status, and payout status.

A creator referral link only needs to be clicked once. After that, RepairHit may store the referral code in the visitor session so the visitor can browse normal RepairHit URLs without the referral code showing on every page.

How RepairHit uses creator information

RepairHit may use creator information to review applications, approve or reject creators, review submitted posts, track referral activity, provide creator dashboard analytics, evaluate commission eligibility, prevent fraud, process payouts, communicate program updates, and enforce creator program rules.

Creator dashboard data

The creator dashboard may display referral links, referral codes, click counts, submitted post activity, post review status, referral progress, commission status, and payout-related status. Dashboard numbers may be adjusted after fraud review, refund review, chargeback review, attribution review, or Support review.

Communications

RepairHit may email creators about application status, post submission status, post approval or rejection, referral activity, commission status, payout review, program changes, policy updates, and account issues.

Fraud prevention and quality review

RepairHit may review activity for suspicious clicks, duplicate accounts, self-referrals, artificial traffic, misleading posts, fake activity, unauthorized channels, refund risk, chargeback risk, and attempts to manipulate commission attribution.

Sharing information

RepairHit may share creator information with service providers that help operate the creator program, including hosting, email delivery, analytics, fraud prevention, payment, and payout providers. RepairHit does not sell creator program information to advertisers.

Retention

RepairHit may retain creator application records, referral records, post review records, commission records, payout records, legal acceptance records, and fraud-prevention records as needed to operate the program, resolve disputes, comply with legal requirements, and protect RepairHit.

Creator choices

Creators may request updates to their profile information or ask RepairHit to review creator account information. Some records may need to be retained for program integrity, legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution reasons.

Policy updates

RepairHit may update this Creator Privacy Policy as the program changes. Continued participation in the creator program means the creator accepts the current privacy policy and creator program terms.

RepairHit Creators is part of RepairHit. Creator data is used to operate the creator program, review activity, prevent abuse, and manage commissions.

Approved post link tracking

RepairHit may create and track unique approved post links for creator posts that pass Support review. These links may connect referral activity to a specific creator, post, platform, tracking code, visitor session, submitted claim or listing, payment status, approval status, commission status, and payout status.

This tracking helps RepairHit review attribution, measure creator performance, prevent fraud, and decide whether commission is eligible.
